Giraffes
in
Serengeti
The Serengeti is a vast grassland leveled
by the Ice Age leaving only small hills and giant rock piles called
Coppice. Many animals, including the towering Giraffe, use these
areas of the Seringetti as a refuge, finding food and protection
from the elements, as well as a vantage point to spot any possible
danger.
