African Wildlife
On my October 1990 trip to Kenya and Tanzania, one of the special
extras I observed was Mother Nature’s finest time of year, spring.
There where many newborn animals of several species prevalent.
The parents would diligently protect their young from predators
and
keep them "In the Shadows" of the brutal afternoon sun.

Giraffes
in Serengeti.
The Serengeti is a vast grassland leveled
by the Ice Age leaving only small hills and giant rock piles called
Coppice. Many animals, including the towering Giraffe, use these
areas of the Seringetti as a refuge, finding food and protection
from the elements, as well as a vantage point to spot any possible
danger.

North American Birds
There is a quiet and watchful audience before we fill our feeders with seed. The anticipation of the surrounding birds grows as we walk away. Generally the chickadees, the bravest birds, will come to dine first. When it seems safe, the rest will follow. We take the time to observe the beauty of The Gathering of songbirds that come to take part of the feast we laid out for them |

Angel's Pond
Angels are symbols of hope and love; they help all inhabitants
of the world. On Angel’s Pond shows the cherub bird bath
nourishing the plants and giving sanctuary to the passing cardinals.
The timeless and forgiving angel continues to feed their thirst
of the centuries while bringing them together in a sharing love.
